Our Experience
Fire Safety Advisory and Training consists of a partnership with a combined experience of over 35 years in the Fire Industry. We have both performed hands on roles as first responders for fire, gas and chemical emergencies. We are trained Fire Safety Advisors, auditors, trainers and are both QBCC licensed for building fire safety installations. Our expertise extends to shopping centres, nursing homes, universities, industrial sites, high occupancy buildings, multi-story residential and childcare centres. Our passion is to help our customers to be well trained, well informed and well prepared.
Who We Are
Dave has over 30 years’ experience in the Fire Industry and has a strong background in building services, emergency procedures, first response and training. He spent 8 years at the University of Queensland as their Senior Fire Safety Officer before deciding to branch out and spread his wealth of knowledge with others. His invaluable experience has seen him coordinate hundreds of emergency wardens in his workplace and work closely with the Queensland Fire Department.
Sarah has been in the building industry for 19 years. Beginning in the electrical industry before transitioning into fire, she soon realised she had more interest in the legislation surrounding the work she was conducting. She specialises in fire safety audits and the development of emergency evacuation plans. Sarah has seen her procedures used successfully in the field while conducting her role as first responder role for fire and gas emergencies.
